Jiannis Papadakis (aka Olla Via) is a sound and visual artist based in Athens. His main interest is in interactive and performative experiences of sound and human body. 

Through the belief that there is no error in a psycho-acoustic perspective, if this error has the ability to repeat itself for acousmatic purposes, his focal point is in the raw sources of sounds which can be patterned to a true form of exposure. Having as primary motives for his music the purest and archaic needs of the human being, his music is associated with the genres of experimental-electronic and noise as well as exploring that of soundscapes.

As a member and co-founder of the musical duo group HAU and Olla Via (Solo act) he has released 1 album Brilliant Gospel Alibi and 3 EPs i_ep, ii_ep, a_grave_in_Leros presenting them in numerous live acts.

He's participated in TRANSMEDIA LABWORKS of the Greek National Opera (GNO) presenting an interactive audiovisual installation and he is graduats of electroacoustic composition and musical technology in CMRC of the Athens Conservatoire taking part in various live performances at Athens Conservatoire venues. 

His last participation at the Conservatoire of Athens was in Xenakis Networked Performance Marathon 2022.

He runs and organizes the art events at the Chimeres Art Space(Π6) and he's also a member of the theatre ensemble (devised physical theatre)  Kosmoi apo gala acting as a performer,  sound-designer and implementer of the theatrical productions' installations. "LARGACTIL" was the last work of the group that took place in Dromokaiteio psychiatric hospital on October of 2023

He holds a Master degree  at AudioVisual Arts in the Digital Age of Ionian University - Department of Audio and Visual Arts.
